Near the Marriott:

  • *Lady B Café: (around corner past Casino): gourmet local food, simple café setting. 264-3686
  • Beirut Café: middle eastern, across the street from the Casino (not to be confused with another middle-eastern, Aladino’s).
  • Costa Azul: 24-hour casual, Spanish & Panamanian food.

Near the Radisson:

  • In the hotel there’s a sushi bar and a modern bistro.
  • *Café Sante (outside Mall): casual local food. 208-2534.
  • Food court in the Multi-Centro Mall (across from the Hotel)

Marbella (2 blocks from the Marriott, 5-6 from the Radisson):

  • *La Posta: Italian in a gorgeous Colonial house. Good seafood risotto. 269-1076.
  • *Limoncillo: Hip and modern local gourmet. 263-5350.
  • Crepes and Waffles: Fancy dessert hangout, nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere. 269-1574.
  • Tre Scalini: Italian traditional sit-down.
  • The Greenhouse: ?
  • Peperoncino: a mix of Japanese (plantain sushi) and Italian in an upscale modern environment.
  • Madam Chang: gourmet Chinese food.
  • Las Tinajas: Typical Panamanian with a folkloric dance show.

  • Bucanero’s: nice outdoor location.

  • Barko’s: pleasant outdoor location. Food so-so.

  • *Niko’s Café: cafeteria, good sandwiches and local typical food. Locations near Via Espa~na, Calle 50 and El Dorado.
  • *Costa Azul: near Marriott, see above.
  • El Ejecutivo Café: Panamanian and breakfast food.
  • El Meson del Prado: sit-down, good sandwiches and sancocho (chicken soup). Near El Dorado. 260-9227.
